Brad Gushue is a Canadian Curler from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Brad is a two-time Olympic Medalist, winning Gold in 2006 and bronze in 2022. He is also the winningest skip in Tim Hortons Brier history, having won the title 5 times. His team is currently ranked #1 in the world.

An impressive and extensive curling career has awarded Gushue many major accomplishments while representing Canada on the World curling circuit. In 2006, incredible teamwork and leadership won the Gold at the Olympic Games. The Gold medal marked the first time that a Canadian team won the gold medal for men’s curling. With his teammates, Gushue became the first Newfoundlander ever to win an Olympic gold medal.

At the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier, Gushue set a record for Brier game wins as a Skip, breaking a three-way tie with previous record-holders. Gushue and his rink also won the 2017 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship.

Brad shares how a focus on building a strong team, mentoring teamwork, and overcoming all obstacles in high-pressure environments was key to their top performance. Brad inspires his audience through his stories of leadership and how to prepare a team to succeed.

Brad is a recipient of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador and holds an Honorary Doctorate from Memorial University.
